Geo. M. Goodsell, the wellknown plumber died Thursday after a lingering illness of consumption. He was born June 13, 1862 at Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was married October 18, 1883 to Miss Lydia suartz of Buchannon, Michigan.  To them were born 4 children,  the eldest 13 and the youngest 4 who survive him with the mother. Mr. Goodsell was a hardworking, sober and industrious man and respected by all for his good character and pleasant manner.  In their great bereavement the family have the sympathy of the entire community. – kbz

George M. Goodsell died Wednesday of consumption at his home at 810 West Main Street. The funeral occurs this afternoon at 4 o’clock, the body to be shipped to Niles Mich., for interment. George M. Goodsell was born June 13, 1862, in Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He came to Crawfordsville in 1891 and here resided until his death. He was married in 1883 to Lydia Swartz, of Buchanan, Mich., who with four children survive him. The oldest of these children is twelve years of age and the youngest four.
Mr. Goodsell was an industrious man and a good citizen, popular with all. His sad death is generally lamented by those who knew him.
